Agents that read information, make a decision and act inside your systems, connected to the ERP, the inbox and the documents your operation already runs on.
AI can do more than answer questions. It can understand information, make decisions, trigger workflows and work alongside your existing business systems.
Agents that read context, decide and act inside your systems.
Invoices, POs and forms turned into structured, validated records.
Rules, triggers and hand-offs that run without a reminder email.
Language models wired safely into Odoo, your apps and your data.
No lead waits on someone opening an inbox.
Accounts payable stops being a typing job.
People handle the exceptions, not the repeats.
The useful question is not “where can we add AI?” but which repeated decisions are costing you the most time. That is where we start.
Explore AI AutomationFour tests we apply before recommending anything. A process that fails most of them is usually a process problem, not an AI opportunity.
A task done dozens of times a week is worth automating even if each instance is small. One done twice a year rarely is.
If a person applies judgement that they can explain, an agent can usually apply it too. If nobody can explain it, fix that first.
Automation works when the information exists in a system, a document or an inbox. It cannot invent what was never recorded.
Start where a mistake is visible and cheap to undo. Irreversible or regulated steps keep a human in the loop by design.
Five stages, whichever practice you start with. Each one ends in something you can look at and react to.
Stage 01
Understand business objectives, users, workflows and challenges.
In Odoo ERP: Walk the order-to-cash and procure-to-pay cycles as they run today.
What comes out of it
Including the ones where the honest answer is a trade-off rather than a feature.
With a process you already run, not a technology you want to try. The best first candidates are high-volume, rule-shaped tasks where the data already exists in a system: reading incoming documents, triaging enquiries, drafting routine responses. Those deliver time back quickly and teach you what your data is really like, which is what makes the next project better scoped.
It depends entirely on the setup, which is why we treat it as a design decision rather than a default. Options range from provider APIs with no-training guarantees through to models running in your own environment, and most systems only need a narrow slice of data to reach the model at all. We agree what may leave your network before anything is built.
Assume it sometimes will and design for it. Extracted data gets validated against the records you already hold, confidence thresholds route uncertain cases to a person, and every automated action is logged so it can be traced and reversed. An automation that fails loudly and lands in a queue is far more useful than one that fails quietly.
Yes, and that is one of the more valuable places to put it, because Odoo already holds the structured data an agent needs to be useful: customers, products, stock, orders, invoices. Agents read and write through Odoo's API with a dedicated user and scoped permissions, so their access is auditable and limited to the records they should touch.
For the work described here, no. This is systems engineering: connecting models to your processes and data, handling failure cases and keeping humans in the loop where it matters. If a problem genuinely needs custom model training rather than integration, we will say so rather than dress up the wrong approach.
